Project description Sans Terre:
This project made by Spurse and others is a research about how that they won't use any form of hierarchy in sorting data that would reinforce nature/culture distinctions and subject/object metaphysics. These words " sans Terre" which is in french means "without earth" in English. My opinion about this term is that there is no hierarchy ground. everything is reversed, and backward. in this project, Spurse makes a proposition that Mexico City is North Adams and North Adams is Mexico City. in this research they allowed other artists and urbanists to intervene/collaborate in this investigation.
