Intervention

 All Lives Matter

My intervention has to do with Animal Abuse. I chose animal abuse because I am strongly against this type of cruelty. According to Petpedia, around 10 million pets die every year due to animal abuse. Around 100 million animals are also used for lab experiments. I am inspired to write about this topic because the life that you see there is my best friend. His name is Kylo, and he is an American Pitbull Terrier. Animal abuse is so common in these species due to the stereotypes that surround the pitbull breed. Pitbull's are so loving and innocent, that I could never understand why people bash their names. Pitbull's are often seen at shelters due to the neglect they receive. I tried my best to make the pictures of my dog as sad as I could by turning the pictures black and white, but his shape is nothing close to the poor dogs that get neglected.
The pictures above can be seen as art because with thought one can see that animals do not have a voice. The only voice animals have is through us. Animals are so caring and never mean any harm. Animals such as dogs are innocent and do not know what it is to feel malicious intent. I believe a pet is a representation of the owner. I believe pets should never be abused or even used as experiments, because their lives are just as important as ours. They feel things just like humans. Animal cruelty and abuse should be put to an end. If our pets and animals had a voice, they would be fighting for their rights, just like us humans do!
